Our festivals and special events calendar is full of exciting, entertaining things to do year-round -- providing visitors the chance to experience a variety of activities and cultural events, in celebration of our community's great diversity.

We also offer a plethora of choices when it comes to recreation, boasting many parks, trails and natural areas for you to do some hiking, biking - or simply take in the beautiful scenery.

Situated on the Grand River, Kitchener is also the perfect destination for a day of fishing, kayaking and canoeing.

Our two scenic golf courses -- Doon Valley and Rockway -- also offer a challenging yet fun day on the fairways.

Or, if you prefer to watch the action - rather than get in on it, our premier sports and entertainment facility -- The Aud -- is home to the Kitchener Rangers Junior A hockey club, as well as the Kitchener Panthers baseball club.
