For active living outdoors, Kitchener offers an abundance of parks, trails and natural areas - more than 100 kilometres of trails to be exact, suitable for walking, jogging, cycling, rollerblading - even bird-watching throughout the year, and two state-of-the-art 18-hole municipal golf courses, Rockway and Doon Valley.

We also provide countless sports and recreation opportunities, which include swimming lessons for all ages. Many of our community centres offer fitness programs and classes every season, promoting healthy, active living.
