Litter Clean-Up

Kitchener participates in the litter-reduction task force - a group that formed in 2003 to:

  • Address the growing concern of litter across the region.

  • Raise awareness.

  • Change the behaviour of those who litter.

The task force is also made up of representatives from:

  • Region of Waterloo

  • City of Cambridge

  • City of Waterloo

  • Township of Wellesley

  • Waterloo Region District School Board

  • University of Waterloo

  • Conestoga College

  • Ministry of Transportation
