Get a Locate Before You Dig

If you are planning to dig, build or excavate on your property, it is important you locate all of your utility lines first. In fact, under Ontario regulations, it is the law.

Please call before you dig - and help keep your property, your family and your community safe.

Who to call:

Water - Kitchener Utilities, Phone Ontario One Call at 1-800-400-2255.
Natural gas - Kitchener, north of Grand River - Kitchener Utilities, Call Ontario One Call at 1-800-400-2255.
Natural gas - Kitchener, south of Grand River and Wilmot Township - Union Gas. Call Ontario One Call at 1-800-400-2255.
Telephone - Bell. Call Ontario One Call at 1-800-400-2255.
Electrical - Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro. Call 519-749-6184.
Cable - Rogers. Call 1-800-738-7893.

To be sure you get the locate information by the time you need it, call at least 30 days before you plan to dig - especially during the busy spring and summer seasons.
