Donations program

Part of the funding used to provide the various programs, activities and opportunities the City of Kitchener offers at our three older-adult centres comes from the generous support of others in our community.

Zehrs tapes

Zehrs tapes are collected at all of our three older-adult centres. They are used to offset costs associated with the centres' advisory councils. Tapes can be off at the front counters of each centre, or in the marked drop-boxes.

Sponsorship opportunities

We organize a number of special events for the members and visitors of our older-adult centres. There are often sponsorship opportunities available.

Memorial fund

An expression of sympathy to one or more of our older-adult centres, in memory of a friend or relative, helps to improve the quality of life of older adults in our community. Once you make a donation, we will send a letter of acknowledgement to your loved one's family; send you a tax receipt; and inscribe the name of your loved one in our memorial book. Donations to our memorial fund can be made at the front counters of any of our three older-adult centres.
