Community Grants

Kitchener offers community grant opportunities to not-for-profit community organizations and groups that provide services in the areas of:

Arts and culture/special events
Community support and development
Sports and recreation

Sports grants are offered to affiliated minor-sports groups who provide programming to youth 18 years of age and under.

Further details regarding eligibility criteria, procedures and process are provided in the policy document.

The application deadline for 2012 funding is closed. The application deadline for 2013 funding will be in early November 2012 (the specific deadline will be posted at a later date). We do not accept late applications.

A public information session will be held prior to the application deadline date (meeting details will be available at a later date). Community Services staff will be available at this session to provide details on the grant process and answer questions.
