State of the City Address

Each year, following completion of our budget process, Kitchener's mayor delivers the State of the City address, on behalf of city council.

This is an opportunity for our elected officials to provide some context around the decisions they have made, along with the city's progress on citywide projects and initiatives.

The address is also a charitable event, with net proceeds of ticket sales donated to the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation's mayor and council fund.

Mayor Carl Zehr delivered the 2012 State of the City address on March 30.
