Playing our part to stimulate the economy
Bridgeport Community Centre
The city used $1.7 million, in combined funding from the federal, provincial and municipal governments, to expand the Bridgeport Community Centre. With these funds, we've added a mid-sized meeting room, additional offices and storage to the existing facility.
The expansion of the Bridgeport community centre enables the city to offer more programming out of the facility; thereby increasing community participation in local events and activities and enhancing quality of life in the neighbourhood.
