Audited Financial Statements

The City of Kitchener is committed to keeping city council and the community well informed of our financial position and financial activity. Each year our financial statements are audited by an external independent accounting firm. Please see the attached links to our Annual Financial Reports.

2008 Annual Financial Report.

The annual report contains the following:

Consolidated financial statements, as required by the Municipal Act;
Trust fund financial statements;
Separate financial statements for local boards and the gas-works enterprise;
Financial and statistical review; and
The Financial Information Return (FIR) as provided to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (see separate document in 2010).
